What Free music includes
Play, search and queue, interactive controls, seventeen audio-effect presets, volume, seek and three saved server playlists with up to ten tracks each. The shared queue holds ten tracks, with a twenty-minute maximum per track.
Each Free server has 120 reserved playback minutes per UTC day, thirty source lookups and sixty decoder starts. Playback is reserved in thirty-second blocks, including failed starts and unused portions. The dashboard shows the remaining allowance. Two Free sessions and six sessions in total can use the shared host at once; a full host asks you to try later.
Free music leaves after ten idle minutes or two minutes in an empty channel. These limits protect playback and keep the free service affordable.
Premium Music Studio
Personal and shared playlists, request review, listener votes, DJ roles, radio rotations, host controls, jingles and sound pads. Stack supported effects, adjust speed and pitch, set a sleep timer, or configure reconnect and 24/7 behavior.
Studio also offers song suggestions, autoplay feedback, crossfade and lyrics when an available source permits them. Premium has no daily playback-minute allowance, with 600 daily lookups and decoder starts. Shared host capacity still applies. A source failure or provider restriction can interrupt playback; 24/7 mode does not guarantee uninterrupted provider access.
Premium checkout has not launched. The dashboard shows current access for your selected server.
Know where the audio comes from
Supported YouTube and SoundCloud tracks use their actual source. A supported Spotify song link supplies title and artist metadata for an explicitly labeled YouTube candidate picker. You review the artist and version and choose a candidate before it enters the queue. Spotify does not supply the audio.
Apple Music matching is limited to supported exact-song metadata. Catalog albums, catalog playlists and unsupported providers are not automatically imported or silently substituted. Source availability, regional restrictions and provider challenges can change. The player shows failures and keeps your saved references for a later attempt.
Keep the room under control
Configure the request channel, DJ permissions and queue rules from the dashboard. Studio can review requests before adding them and restrict controls to eligible listeners or DJs. Restore a saved session paused so playback resumes when someone chooses it.
The dashboard uses your DubTrackr app theme. Your server's permissions still decide who can configure it.
